1. Introduction
EzeRFP, a subsidiary of Start Consulting Limited (parent company of EzeRFP) ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") provides a cloud-based AI-powered data lake for document storage and retrieval. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our services.
By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information: Name, email, company details, and billing information.
Uploaded Files & Metadata: Documents stored in your repository, including associated metadata.
Usage Data: IP addresses, log data, search queries, and file interactions.
Payment Information: Processed securely via third-party providers (e.g., Stripe); we do not store payment details.
3. How We Use Your Information
Provide, manage, and improve our AI-powered data storage and retrieval services.
Process payments and subscriptions.
Secure your data and maintain compliance with legal requirements.
Respond to support requests and inquiries.
4. Data Storage & Security
Data is encrypted both in transit and at rest using industry-standard security measures.
We store your files in Google Cloud within regional data centers aligned with applicable privacy laws (FOIP, GDPR, PIPEDA, etc.).
Users can select their preferred data residency region (e.g., Canada, EU, US) at account setup.
If no preference is specified, data is stored in Canada by default.
Users requesting a change in data residency may be subject to data migration procedures.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
Active subscribers: Data is retained as long as your subscription is active.
Expired subscriptions: Data is retained for 90 days after subscription expiration. If no renewal occurs, data is permanently deleted.
Trial accounts: Data is retained only for 15 days after the trial period begins. If the trial expires, all data is automatically deleted without a grace period.
User-initiated deletion: You can delete your data at any time through the platform or by requesting account deletion.
6. Data Breach Notification
In the event of a data breach that affects user information, affected users will be notified within 72 hours, as required by applicable regulations.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By using EzeRFP, a subsidiary of Start Consulting Limited (parent company of EzeRFP), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our platform.
2. Services Provided
Our platform allows businesses to store, organize, and retrieve AI-powered answers from uploaded documents.
3. Subscription & Payment
Free and paid subscription plans are available.
Payments are processed through Stripe.
Failure to renew a paid plan results in data retention for 90 days, after which files will be deleted.
Trial accounts expire 15 days after initiation, and all trial data is automatically deleted at expiration with no grace period.
4. Service Availability & Limitations
We aim for 99.9% uptime, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
AI-generated responses are based only on uploaded data and do not guarantee accuracy.
AI-generated responses are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as legal, financial, or technical advice.
5. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless EzeRFP from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the use of the platform, including improper or unauthorized use of AI-generated responses.
6. Force Majeure
EzeRFP shall not be liable for failure to perform due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, cyber-attacks, service interruptions, or legal restrictions.
7. Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta, Canada.
